Frequently asked questions
They have a standard 9/16" axle, so they fit MTB, gravel, road, BMX, e-bike or folding bikes. They're designed for MTB and demanding gravel: we don't recommend them for the city, the school run or children's bikes, because the wide platform and aggressive pins are uncomfortable for those uses.
A 15 mm wrench (or 6 mm Allen key) for the axle and a 2.5 mm Allen key for the pins. Each pedal is marked L or R on the axle; the left one has a reverse thread.
Yes. It's an intentional design so you can reposition your foot precisely. Under normal load, when pedaling, that resistance is practically unnoticeable.
Yes. The 16 pins on each pedal can be removed one by one with the Allen key. The thread is a fixed length, so their height can't be adjusted.
