Yes. The tension adjusts progressively with the pedal's tension screw, so you can clip in and out safely.
They have a Cr-Mo steel axle with a universal 9/16" thread, the standard on most mountain bikes and e-bikes: suitable for MTB, e-MTB, enduro and BMX.
Identify the right (R) and left (L) pedal: the left one has a reverse thread. Grease the threads, tighten the left one counterclockwise and the right one clockwise, and finish tightening with the Allen key.
Wipe them with a damp cloth after every ride in mud or rain. Every 2-3 months, or if the rotation feels stiff, apply bearing lubricant. Check the cleats and bolts from time to time.
