It uses premium 0.35 mm TPU, a 100 % metal valve, reinforcement at the valve base and compression control at the joint. It weighs about 48 g, much less than a butyl tube (150–200 g), but it's tougher than ultralight TPU tubes.
Yes. The Presta valve is 100 % metal, with a removable core and an anti-corrosion anodised finish.
Pre-inflate the tube to 20–30 % (max. 6 PSI) so it takes shape, insert the valve into the rim, place the tube evenly inside the tyre and finish inflating to the recommended pressure. Don't inflate it outside the tyre or use metal tyre levers.
